Private Investigation: Augusta, GA

Claims: The family in this house claimed to see full body apparitions of a young boy and an old man, doors opening and closing on their own, physical attacks, hearing voices and hearing a radio playing during the night.

Findings: The first team in was Chris, Victoria and Jeannie. The EMF base readings were 0.2-0.3. However, the ceiling fan in the children’s room went from 0-190. In the den, Chris’ head lamp turned off on its own and would not turn back on for a few minutes. This was followed by a thump and footsteps running from the couch (where Chris, Victoria and Jeannie were sitting) to the master bedroom. Before the thump and footsteps, Victoria reported feeling uneasy, as if the team was being watched. This was heard by all 3 team members, but was not captured on the digital recorders or camera. In the master bedroom, Jeannie reported feeling nauseous. The air conditioner unit in the master bedroom gave off an EMF reading of 16-20, which could have contributed to the feeling. One of the flashlights our team had taped to the refrigerator flashed on then off once. The second team in was Philip and Crista. Crista stood behind the couch in the den and upon walking around the corner of the couch back towards the seating area, heard a man’s raspy voice exhaling. Further investigation on audio/video recorder revealed no evidence of mans voice, but on the audio you can hear a bump/slide of something before Crista commented on the phenomena. An EVP was captured during the initial interview saying “leave us alone”. This was the only evidence captured during the investigation.

Private Investigation: Fitzgerald, GA

Claims: The owner of this location has been experiencing paranormal activity for around 30 years. The claims include black shadow figures, appartions, balls of light going through walls, hearing footsteps when nobody is home or awake, doors opening and doorknobs rattling violently.

Findings: Philip, Jason and Crista were the first team in. Upon first walk through, EMF base readings were at .02-.03. Around 10 P.M, while in the master bedroom, they heard a loud band which seemed to come from the bathroom. Nothing was found upon investigating where the sound came from. While in the living room doing an EVP session, Crista felt a breath on the back of her neck. When looking for a source of the breath, nothing was found. While in the kitchen, Jason was sitting in a chair and reported seeing a shadow figure block out the light from the living room window. While in the living room, all 3 members reported hearing tapping between the master bedroom and master bathroom. They could find no explanation for the tapping noise. Philip reports that while walking toward the master bedroom door from the dining room, the door suddenly and swiftly opened. They also heard a sigh in the dining room that seemed to come from the kitchen. Also, the team experienced floor vibrations in the front bedroom. When in the same room, there was an EMF spike to a 5 in the closet. The location has no electricity. The second team in was Victoria, Tish, and Shana. During an EVP session, Victoria reported feeling a breath on her neck while in the same location as Crista at the time of the incident. During the same EVP session, Shana heard a moan in her ear. Shortly after, the flashlight flickered on and off when it was sitting on the table. Victoria asked if it had a message to be passed on and the flashlight flickered in response. The next team in was Chris, Crista, and Philip. While filming their EVP session, Philip reported feeling a breath on his neck. The team attempted to debunk the EMF spike, but could not recreate the spike in any way. After reviewing evidence, the team found several EVPs that include thumping, loud bands, murmuring while team members are talking, dragging and then whispering, breathing/laughter into the microphone and a whisper that sounds like it is saying “get out”. On video we caught a black shadow figure that appears in front of the kitchen door. After the shadow disappears, the curtains by the door move directly afterwards. We also found a transparent ball of light that moves from the bottom corner of the screen towards the ceiling.

Burnt Church: Lakeland, GA

Claims: People have heard loud, but unintelligible voices, apparations. People have also seen balls of light in the cemetery and have seen the lights on in the church itself when no one is there.

Findings: While investigating, Philip heard a woman’s laughter. Crista heard boot steps while reading a WWII soldier’s gravestone.

Jail in GA

Claims: Those who work in the jail (now an office) have heard footsteps on the second floor when no one is up there and some have seen a man in the window at night after everyone has left. Heavy doors have also shut or moved on their own.

Findings: We had a few personal experiences. One of which included several team members hearing old country music when there was no radio or other device playing music. Chris reported smelling heavy cigar smoke in the office. Upon reviewing the recorders we found a male voice that seemed residual and not responsive to the questions we asked. Philip was stroked on the neck and at the same time a loud moan was captured on the audio of our handheld camera. The County Historian has given us a picture of a female face in the window of the jail taken after our investigation, this picture can be seen on the Evidence section of our site.

Hospital: South Georgia

Claims:  Over the years, many people have reported seeing a female nurse walk the halls. They have also heard noises such as such as typewriters, and doors opening and closing when no one was around. They have also experienced extreme paranoia in certain areas of the hospital.

Findings: During set-up, while taping down cords, a door handle in front of the investigators rattled and then the door opened on its own. During the first 20 minutes of the investigation, the team began asking questions addressed to the nurse people had seen. In response to their questions, a female replied with “I want you.” During the last 30 minutes of the investigation, a female investigator said that it felt weird in the hall she was standing in. At this time, a male voice was captured on our recorder saying “right here.” We also have a picture of the nurse on our Evidence page.

Vitos: Valdosta, GA

Claims: Vitos has been a local legend in the Valdosta area for many years. People claim to have seen chairs thrown, voices heard and there have been occasional sightings of the former owner.

Findings: Due to past abuse by other paranormal groups, we would like to thank the owner of Vitos for allowing us to investigate. We had one EVP that we cannot understand because it is in another language, we think Latin. During the investigation we saw a face that kept looking over the attic space. Upon review, we had a good laugh when we discovered that it was actually a cat.
There was no concrete evidence found, but we are open to investigating again.

The Royalty Theater: Clearwater, FL

Claims: Originally named The Capitol Theater, The Royalty Theater was built in 1920 and was used as a movie house. It was then abandoned and refurbished in 1962 and then leased by Jerry Strain and Bill Neville. In the early 80s, Bill Neville was brutally murdered in the theater balcony by gay bashing robbers. It is the spirit of former owner Bill Neville that is believed to haunt the theater.

Findings: During the investigation a green light appeared and went to the wall. This was witnessed by 3 investigators as well as the ones watching the DVR. On the DVR, a small human figure could be seen sitting on stage, and did not move the entire investigation. We tried debunking he figure, and even tried to run our hands through it, but could not figure out what it was. We cannot call it paranormal but do not have any answers for what it was. We had no video, but we caught several EVPs. The first one was caught upstairs (outside of the dressing rooms) when an investigator asked the spirit to show a sign of its presence, we got a child’s voice saying “I’m trying to understand” and then a short pause followed by “but I can’t.”  In another area, another investigator was talking and when she stopped a disembodied female voice says “go to jail” or “go to hell.” There were a few EMF spikes in areas the curator told us he felt weirded out. It was a beautiful location with a lot of history and we would love to return to investigate further.
 

Private Investigation: Tifton, GA

Claims: Residents claim to see the apparition of a little girl walking through the hallway of their home. They have also reported seeing her jump-rope on some occasions. One of the residents claims that she is so clear that he can describe in full detail her clothes and hair. Noises such as footsteps from the hallway have been reported. In addition, the spirit of the little girl interacts with the residents, but is not harmful. One night, the spirit was asked to leave and the residents claim that they did not experience any activity for a month.

Findings: Investigators heard footsteps in the hallway where the little girl is seen, but these noises were not captured on any of our handheld cameras or digital recorders. Investigators also felt as if someone were watching them in when sitting in the living room by the door to the same hallway. The EMF detector gave off a 0 to 1 when investigators did a sweep of the house. While the first team went in, the reported the K-2 meter going off during an EVP session in the hallway of the home. While sitting with the residents in the living room during an EVP session, the laser grid grew brighter on one occasion, dimmer on another and then completely moved another time. During evidence review, we found some unexplained laughter and breathing into the digital recorder sitting in the little girl’s room. No investigator or resident was near the recorder when these noises were captured.
